Join us for a dynamic one-day workshop designed for K-12 educators eager to enhance their teaching with the newly adopted PA STEELS standards. This immersive experience will provide you with a deep understanding of the STEELS framework and its impact on science education.

Participants will engage in interactive sessions, including a keynote by a leader in science teaching, Dr. Christine Royce who contributed to the development of the standards. In the afternoon, teachers will break into grade-level groups (elementary, middle, and high) to explore practical STEELS lesson examples. Collaborate with peers to redesign an existing lesson, ensuring it aligns with the new standards and fosters deeper learning.

Don’t miss this opportunity to transform your approach to science education and empower your students for success! (Please bring an existing science lesson that can be used to aligned to the PA STEELS Standards.)

Lunch and parking will be provided with registration

Please go to our membership page (https://pascience.org/Membership) to join or renew your membership to be sure you receive the email update.
